Hello, welcome to Svoboda  Press. Svoboda Press, this is an explanation of our show. or our podcast or what we will delve into within the news. The reason why Svoboda Press was created was very simply for the fact that Svoboda means freedom or liberty in English.  Svoboda is a Russian/Ukrainian word, which means freedom or liberty.

It also ties to the fact that in today’s world, today’s world being in the 21st century, in the 2020s. Let’s not put into a year.  But because it’s gonna be changing from 2022 to 2026, et cetera. That the media, And other interests, seemingly, have their own narrative, their own definitions. of what goes on in the world. And of course, if you don’t fit into their narrative, if you don’t fit into their definition of what is important, you are not covered.

Especially, If you try to find something that’s not popular, or nowadays would be, Like a conspiracy theory. Some people would say like Alex Jones. Or some people might say the guy on the radio that’s on Ham radio or on AM radio.  In that, the thing about this is, is this. Is at Swaboda Press, for as long as it’s freely available, or with some contributions from members that are interested in the Swaboda Press to support the publication, Funding, or other means necessary, which is a donation effort. to make quality content, and to make interviews available with Ukrainians or any nationality, to give a dimension of understanding of what happens in the world. Currently, as of 2026, this Swoboda press will focus on Ukraine.  Because that’s where we are located.

It’s not important to know my name. It’s not important to know anyone’s name.  What’s important? Is the story, the honesty, and the integrity, as well as the truthfulness of what is being told. and what is being shared. Since, If it was a press agency or journalism, the most important things are who, what, why, where, and how. 

At the end of the day, Journalism or news media has gone far from the pivot base of where it should be. Sometimes it creates the news, sometimes it’s directly involved with the news, sometimes it’s all over the place. Or in a in a bad country, it’s a propagandist arm of the government.  That’s not what Swaboda Press will be about. The goal is to be a storyteller is to tell the truth and to give good direct information.
